"I can remember when I was a little boy, my grandmother and I could hold conversations entirely without ever opening our mouths. She called it "shining". And for a long time, I thought it was just the two of us that had the shine to us. Just like you probably thought you was the only one. But there are other folks, though mostly they don't know it, or don't believe it."
-Richard "Dick" Hallorann
There was a point in time where the idea of being isolated in a hotel, away from humanity sounded like a horror story, I mean, it is a horror story but add an edible to a Saturday night and I could quite easily see this one coming true in the post-COVID-19 era.
The Stephen King book, adapted by Stanley Kubrick for the screen version creates a vision of isolation that lingers long past the end of the story.
In this design, we have created a hotel poster design that is supposed to be reminiscent of hotel carpet design that features so heavily through the Stanley Kubrick version of The Shining.
With a distressed-style print, this is designed to look retro, and the look has the feel of an old country hotel or bar. Sparking nostalgia, it really does have the look of something that you may have seen before or even visited, though as you well know, most guests at the Overlook Hotel don't ever want to leave...

Our feedback on the sizing is that it is pretty true to the size guide provided, so if you are always an XL, we would say that this would be true with this garment too.
